Best practices to build and market your coaching business

It's a new year! In this meeting of our SIG, we had a round table discussion on best practices for building and marketing our coaching practices. You'll hear what has worked for us from GTD (getting things done) to Twitter to information product creation. Download the podcast here.

This SIG meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 4 pm Eastern (1 pm Pacific). All ICF member coaches are eligible to attend the live calls and receive CCEU credit (when available). To see the phone number and PIN for the calls, you must log in on the ICF webpage, then follow the links For Current Members-->Find a Special Interest Group.

Our next meeting will be on Wed, Feb 4 at 4 pm Eastern with guest presenter, Suzi Pomerantz.
Title: Sell is Not A Four-Letter Word!
Brief Description: Coaches must shift limiting mindsets about sales and selling to align more closely with the purpose and passion behind why we became coaches in the first place! Join Suzi Pomerantz, MCC -- gamechanger executive coach and author of the highly acclaimed Seal the Deal for an interactive, energizing, and transforming conversation.

Learning Outcomes for Feb 4 will include:
1. Participants will distinguish between the three critical components of business development: networking, marketing, and sales
2. Participants will explore current, limiting mindsets about sales and selling that hold them back from all the clients they want.
3. Participants will design new mindsets about creating opportunities to provide coaching services that are consistent with commitments and aligned with passion and meaning.
